Solon Blodgett Abbott was born in Vermont in 1832 and died in California in 1911. He was suppose to have been a sheriff in Sacramento, CA, in the late 1850s. He was also suppose to be an associte of William Walker, the filibuster. I would like to know what he did while sheriff of Sacramento County and if any of his descendants are still around. Thenk you for your help. brian
