If you live in Sacramento,
Go to the State Library on 9th and N Street.
They have the Sacramento Bee on microfish reel. They are very friendly ther, they can show you how to use the machine. You will be able to search by year. You can also make a copy of the article. If you do not live there, call them and they may be able to assist you.
Also the Sacramento Bee has archives, Check them out online. "Good luck" V. Herring
