Hi Pat;

John Bradford CAVE and his brother Richard were born in Boone County Kentucky. Richard and John B. CAVE moved from Missouri to Van Buren County around 1830. Around 1849, John and some brothers and Richard and sons moved to California. Richard and son Hugh mined and raised stock in Northern California while John B. CAVE settled in Sacramento. Balser SAPP and family, settled in Marysville CA around the same time. The SAPP and CAVE families intermarried at some point. The SAPPs also interacted in Arcata, which is in Northern CA. That's all I have.

Kind Regards,
Jim Roan
