This is in response to the Sacramento County genealogy forum, re" Jomes five and Dime Store in Oak Park.
Oak Park is now a low income neighborhood,; it wasn't in the 30s and 40s. The neighborhood was middle income people who bought wooden frame houses built after World War I.
