Ralpha,

In 1880 my father's mother and her parents were living there. In 1881 her father supposedly died, anyway that's what her mother said when she sent them to the Sacramento Children's Home. She disappeared after saying she would pay what she could. He's very hard to find anywhere and could have just runout on the family. He's not in any death records that I can find.

That's my connection to the bakery.

I tried the Sacramento County Historical Society, no luck. Ed
