Beaten, drugged, and held prisoner for two days in a barren room on the outskirts of Los Angeles, Astrea Jolley, 14, was found by her three brothers, S. L., S. R., and A. W., early Sat morning.
She was abducted from the front of her house at 2505 East 53rd St., Los Angeles, and was the subject of a state-wide search.
3 men were arrested- L. H. Finnell, Frank Sanceri, and William Joseph, were arrested. They named 3 others.
The girl was still unconscious from the narcotic and was in critical condition.
The culprits were waiting in two automobiles and wanted to take her where a girl chum had sent for her and would take her to where the girl was waiting. Her mother rushed to her rescue but she was kidnapped and drug into a car.

Vigilantes Whip Frank Sanceri
A group of men dubbing themselves "Protectors of American Womenhood" kidnapped him, lashed him to a telephone pole outside of Hollywood, and beat him with an iron cable until he was unconscious.
He is out on $5500 bond for attacking Astrea Jolly, 13, sister of Ted Jolly of Hemet, several weeks ago.
(He was badly beaten, the case was being investigated)

4 men were arrested for being a vigilante- T. W. Jolley, Arthur W. and S. L. Jolley, and H. E. de Valle, an insurance agent.

Frank Sanceri went to court, where Judge Channing Follette declared that he was guilty of a "technical" felony, but that testimony by a girlfriend of Astrea indicated that she willingly went with the group of 5 men.

Los Angeles- T. W. Jolley, S. L. Jolley, and A. W. Jolley, father and brothers of 15 year old Astrea Jolley, who is alledged to have been attacked by Frank Santeri and a group of men, were arraigned today on a charge of assault to commit murder.
"Frank Sanceri, the man who was flogged by the self-styled "white knights" on Lookout Mountain in Hollywood several months ago, was found not guilty yesterday by a jury in Superior Judge Shea's courtroom of having unlawfully attacked Astrea Jolley, aged 11."
