Hi,
Since you said you didn't know much about Hugh, I looked up Census records.
Hugh and his family in 1920 were living in State Center, Marshall, Iowa.
Wm H. Daniels, head, b. KS, 38, general farmer.
Olive, wife, b. IA, 40.
Hugh B., b. IA, 9.
Dorothy P., b. IA, 8.
Ruth L., b. IA, 1 9/12ths.
Rapha L Buck is listed as stepson and his family is living with the Daniels.
In 1930 some of the family were living in Washington, Marshall, Iowa.
W. H. Daniels, head, b. KS, 48, general farmer.
Ollie, wife, b. IA, 50.
Hugh, b. IA, 18, single.
I also found the Scroggin/Lambert/Dahlberg/Seibel Family Tree, http:trees.ancestry.com/tree/24356471/person/1511442635 which contains the Daniels family.
According to the family tree, he died 11 March 1986 in Riverside, California.
He married a Ruby Pauline Scroggins b. 1911, Missouri and died 1995, Orange Co., CA.
They had a son Larry Beatty Daniels b. 1936 Orange Co. and died 2005 in Wildomar, Riverside Co.
