William DYER was probably from Somerset, England and migrated to Dubuque Co., Iowa, USA ca. 1850. His brother, James II, had preceded him from England to Dubuque Co. They were sons of James DYER and Hester TYLEY. William probably m. 3 times: 1] Louisa WOOLLEY ca. 1849; 2] Ann GADSDEN ca. 1850; and 3] Mary RICHARDS at Dyersville, Dubuque Co., IOWA, USA in September 1859. William probably m. Louisa WOOLLEY at Allestree, Derbyshire, England ca. 1849. William and his third wife, Mary RICHARDS [who was also b. in England], migrated from Dubuque Co., IA to the vicinity of Corona, Riverside Co., CA ca. 1887.
