Deceased Name: Albert Lammens

Graveside services for Albert Lammens, 82, will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Riverside National Cemetery. He died Nov. 20 of lung cancer at Hemet Valley HealthCare Center.

McWane Family Funeral Home in Hemet is handling arrangements.

Mr. Lammens, who was born in Belgium, lived in Hemet nine years. Previously he lived 22 years in the San Gabriel Valley. He was a self-employed electrical contractor for 35 years.

He served in the merchant marine in 1944 and 1945.

Mr. Lammens was a member of the National Electrical Contractors Association, the Arcadia Lions Club and the Elks Lodge in Pasadena.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and dancing.

He is survived by his wife, Marge; two sons, Albert Jr. of Covina and David of La Verne; a daughter, Frances Grew of Pasadena; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marie Popov of New Jersey.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Ramona VNA and Hospice, 890 W. Stetson Ave., Suite B, Hemet, 92543.
