Engagement of Miss Charlotte Mae Westbrook (above) to Carl Lewis Bauer, U.S.N., has been announced and their wedding will be an event of the near future. The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.E. Goodman of Bremerton. Her fiance is the son of Mrs. Charles Bauer of Milwaukee, Wis., and is a graduate of the Boys Technical school there. He received training at the medical school at Farragut, Idaho, and now is stationed at the N.A.D. dispensary. (Richard Gray Robinson Photo).
