I have a detailed family history that was written by one of the daughters of one of the Ford Families. It starts when the family comes West. It is probably 15-20 pages of narritive. The reason I have this is that my family came to own one of the Ford Ranch in the early 1900s. A local historian offered me a copy of this Ford history because of our ownership of the original ranch property. There is a grave stone or memorial marker that still exists on the ajoining ranch -which was originally homesteaded by the other Ford family. Somewhere in my records I also have a copy of the Ford homestead papers on the ranch signed by- I believe President Grant. I will have to find these things if you are interested. Also of interest- Mrs Jack Ford's sister came west for a visit- ended up marrying a rancher in a neighboring community - surname LEE- there are still descendents of that family in the area.
Please feel free to let me know if any of this would be of interest...if so..I will find the documents and copy them for you.
Are you a descendnent of these families???

Carol
