Hi,
An Eleanor F. St. Clair

The Last Residence field isn't necessarily where the person died. It can be the location where notification of death was sent to the Social Security Admin. or where the death payment was sent to a family member.

A Paul D. St. Clair
Last Residence: Stanton, Orange, California
Born: 20 Aug 1935
Died: 25 May 2004
His soc. sec. # was assigned in California in 1951. Source: Social Security Death Index.

They were both born after the 1930 Census which is the most recent Census available to the public at this time. Therefore, the next best thing to find is their obituaries.

However they are not easy to find in Orange County because of the size of the County and cities and cost to print an obituary in the county-wide newspaper.

ObitsArchive.com lists Orange County Register Weekly which is a good place to start. There is a fee. Check to see if there is a Stanton newspaper listed too.

You can contact the Heritage Park Regional Library, http://egov.ocgov.com/ocgov/OC%20Public%20Libraries . Click on a link to the five managers email addresses under Library Administration.
