Rhonda,
I hope you read this. You post was dated in 2002. So I wish me luck in contacted you.:-) I have been feeding and visiting with Lenny Langston for about 3 weeks when I first ran into him. He is in the City of Orange and lives in the streets. Usually in the area of Katella and Tustin Ave. He is now in a wheelchair. When I speak with him he is as sharp as one can be living in the streets. Your correct he is very nice and knows who Jesus Christ is. He has a his Bible. And folks in the area seem to make sure he is fed. I locate him almost everyday and always ask how his day was and if he is hungry.I have taken him neccessities of life and also make sure he is fed. My delima is I too want to find him a permanent place to live. He is hestiate right now , he tells me he will think about it. It seems he feels secure in his surroundings and has some fear of being uprooted from his"home area". He shared with me he does have relatives and was living with one of them for a while but the place was to small. Not sure if they asked him to leave or he left because he wanted to. I want so badly to find him permanent diabled housing. I have info to do this but until he says he wants to I can not do anything without his permission. He is developing a trust level for me and I pray the Lord with give Lenny full faith in me so we can proceed with better care for him. It has now been 6 years since he has been out in the streets. Though I do thing there have been intervals of him having a place to stay. Because he had mentioned he was in facitly for a period of timeI wanted to give you an update and if you see this please email me. Perhaps together we might achieve the Lords plan for Lenny. Thank You
