Blue Tent is just a name on a map today and a
former community like other Nevada County towns such as Alpla, Omega, You Bet, and
Red Dog (alluded to in the movie Paint Your
Wagon). It is located off North Bloomfield Rd. Towns came and went depending on the
gold deposits. I don't know if Blue Tent has
an established cemetary but today it is considered more of an area than a town.
