DeForrest Gold Rush Miner 1850 Census

Searching for information about DeForrest who answered the 1850 census in town of Rough and Ready. This was located in Yuba County. He was living with Phelps the tavern owner.

This may be my GG grandfather John Charles DeForrest who later moved to MO and married Malinda Reed in 1864.

Thanks for your help.
