Thank you Vern! This directory listing lets me know that Thomas Legg/Legge (the teamster, my GGF)was still in Nevada twp in 1867. By 1870, according to the census, he lives in Verdi, NV and is an engineer for the Crystal Peak mine.

The other Thomas Legg besides being a saloon keeper was also a stage driver, born in England and married to Harriet, I think.
