The Napa Valley Genealogical & Biographical Society has copies of the early death records. These records, however, are not complete but includes all recorded deaths. Please send name and approximate date of death

The Napa City County Library has microfiche of the early newspapers. It would require a researcher to visit local library to look for a obit.

The society asks a $10 donation and a stamped self-addressed envelope. (These may be sent to NVGBS, 1701 Menlo Avenue, Napa, CA 94558 ATTN: Carole Fisher)

I can search death records at no charge.
