I am trying to find out more about Daniel B. PARKS. He was born about 1821 in MAINE. In the 1850 census he was in Seneca County, Ohio. In
the 1860 census, he had moved to Napa County, California with his wife Eliza. His kids from Eliza were named Robert G Parks, Albert W. Parks,
William Parks, Mary Parks, Theodore Parks, Jesse Parks, Lereta (or Sereta Parks) and George Parks. From information obtained in the 1860
census through the birthplaces of his kids he moved sometime between 1853 and 1856. In the 1870 census he was widowed and living with his kids.
On March 18, 1871, he remarried in Napa County to a lady 30 years his junior named Rose Watson. He had 5 children named Dana Bruce Parks,
Charles Henry Parks, Walter Ward Parks, Floyd Elliot Parks and Sterling Milo Harry Parks. By the
1900 census, Daniel was deceased. Rose was living in Napa County working for the Napa State Hospital for the insane.
I know that Daniel B. Parks must have died between 1886 (the birth of his last child) and 1900. Do
you happen to know if the Napa Gen Society has any cemetery records that would have record of Daniel or Eliza Parks? I would love to acquire an obituary for him and would be more than willing to pay reasonable expenses in getting one. Any help at all on Daniel B Parks would be greatly appreciated. No piece of info is insignificant. Thank you very much for reading my post.
