Hello Marilyn,

I am a volunteer searcher and know the Monterey County area fairly well. Robley Road is in a residential area, actually between Salinas City and the City of Monterey. It is a very nice area, back when the probate was done, well, it was practically uninhabited. I will be in Monterey for Thanksgiving and will make every effort to take a photo of 103 Robley Road for you.

I don't know the history behind the name of the street or Robley Motors, but you might want to contact the Monterey County Public Library and ask those questions. Salinas is the county seat for Monterey County and any motor sales in those days would probably have been in Salinas, not Watsonville (small small town at the time, most agriculture).

Best Wishes
Susan Davis

Please email me your email address and if I get a few digitals of 103 Robley Road, I will email them to you!
