PG Library card file

Does anyone know if anyone has computerized or at least typed up all or parts of the local history card file at Pacific Grove Library? Is anyone interested in doing it? There is so much data locked up there, it would be a real service to the community to get it on-line. I would but I don't live in town. I also would if someone photocopied the cards - but I realized that would be too expensive. The cards contain an index to obituaries, marriages and other events to all the PG and Monterey papers. It's wonderful.
