I now know who Willie Myrtle Taylor-Thompson's parents were.My dilemma is with Charley H. Thompson's Family tree. I know that (from what his grandson has told me) Charley worked or ran a cottonseed mill in Madera California. My daughter's great-grandmother, which they called "Myrtle", had made a baby blanket, for her father, Willie Myrtle's Grandson, out of some of the cotton and signed it as such. I know that Charley was born in either texas or Oklahoma. His social # is that of an Oklahoma Social Security number. Her grandson also says that they were a well to do family because Willie Myrtle attended private and finishing schools. I know that they lived in Tillman County, Oklahoma, but also that Willie Myrtle came from Decatur, Wise County, Texas. They lived here when their son Kenith was born in 1939 and there is a census stating such in 1940. Kenith was my daughter's grandfather. His son, my daughter's father states that there was something that Kenith did that made him the "black sheep" of the family so they didn't speak of or to Charles' Family. I also know they moved before Lorita was born, to California. There are other Census records of a John Thompson with a Roy and a Ray and a C.H Thompson that i thought could possibly be the right ones.....And yes the birth and death dates are correct. And also, James R. is Jimmy Roy Thompson, who may or may not still be living, but Lorita, their sister, is living. She wasn't born until 1951, i believe. Thanks for your help.
