Kaarina, there are couple items missing on Paul's WWII Draft....

This maks me believe he was not married, or had children.
1940 Ft Bragg, Mendocino Co CA; Paul W MATSON 49 Finland, laborer, saw mill. It says married, but looks like it is crossed out. He had lived in the same place 1935; was a lodger, along with many others.
1930 he was in the same location, single, same occupation; emigrated 1910, and was not a citizen.

b. 5-22-1887 Finland
Wife: Lilly
He is also listed WWI Draft Reg, with same wife.

Father: GUNSBEAK [should this be KUNGBACKA...the names look very similar]

I'm not familiar with the patrinomic naming system in Finland.
