I descend from the uncle of James Hudson, who came from Columbus, GA, and will be glad to share some info on the ancestry of the Hudson family in GA. His father was James Hudson and his mother Emmeline Engram/Ingram. His father died during the Civil War. I had a small info link about this move to California in a 1965 interview, I found the data tonight and then found your query. Be glad to help fill in some pieces. Kenneth H. Thomas, Jr., Decatur, GA
