Thank you so much for finding that Obit and the girl's married names. I had only a complete birth date for probably Margaretta (Marguerite)....20 Jul 1914 and for Olga I found 4 May 1916 and a census "about" date also of 1914 for Agnes I, but that may be off. Looked in CO for a birth record, but could not find. Never found a birth record for her in CO or in CA, but I'll keep looking.... maybe in 1913 or even earlier.
Now at least I've got some last names to run down possible marriages and husbands with. Thank you so much for those. Guess I'll have to check both CA and AZ and WA for those, since they died there.
I had not found an obit for Joseph, but I do have a death date of 13 May 1965 in Los Angeles for him. I was hoping an obit for Agnes would give her parents names.... we have found a death record for her that gave the name Pohorska for mother's maiden name, but no first name and no father's first name. I don't believe the parents immigrated to the US, no record of a Pohorska married to a Zavoral exists that I can find. We were also looking for a birth place in Bohemia of Agnes, her sister Marie and their brother Frank so we could begin to search for birth/baptismal records. Those days, those records would be in churches, not a central government office.
