My, you are really trying to help. Thanks bunches.I have already seen the photo, but was not sure if he was the same person I am really trying to find.On ancestry, I found a U.S. Indian Census that gave information about William's death, but I can't seem to find it right now.He was living in Riverside, California (if I remember correctly) and I think it was about 1932, but it was reported in Standing Rock Agency, South Dakota.I will try again to find it since it seems he went by William Harris Dog later in the Indian censuses as opposed to going by William Harris in earlier censuses. He may be the one who really went by William Red Cloud too.Hope they are they same person. This has been an interesting line to research since William's father was supposed to go by Jerome Redcloud even though it had him listed as Jerome Harris sometimes.Red Cloud may have been his stage name, but would like to know if he is descended from the actual Chief Red Cloud. On Jerome's death certificate it states that his father was Jack and his mother was Elizabeth. Now that is hard to find since Jack was the only son apparently of Red Cloud but Red Cloud's wife was not Elizabeth. This has really taxed me, but has been fun to learn more about the Native American culture.I keep on learning every day. Thanks and keep this line in mind as you work on research.
Debbie
