Need help - Rushing, Gwen & Hurshel
Posted by: helen rushing (ID *****6116) Date: October 06, 2012 at 21:23:52

Gwen and Hurshel were my brother/sister-in-law--he has passed but I am not sure about Gwen. Have lost contact over the years.
Some photos were passed on to me by other members of the
family and I am trying to identify the location of Gwen's Cafe. (Names of places I can remember them living in or around were Corcorran, Tulare, Tipton, Bakersfield Kingburg,
possibly a King County. I remember they always talked about the Cafe being where lots of trucker stopped. I thought it was Rt. 5 but haven't been able to connect it. In some of the photos there is a Mohawk Cafe sign but if that is it,I have only heard them & family members call it Gwen's cafe. I am sorry to say that I don't have more info - If I remember correctly Gwen's maiden name was Reynolds but until I am sure I don't want to include it in my genealogy file.
At 83, my memory is short and I waited too long to start putting my family tree together. Thanks for any info that can be shared.
