Ida Eugenia Benson
maiden name :Ida Eugenia Gransell
born 2-28-1892
Grangarde, Falun, Kopparberg, Sweden
came to America with my Erik and Johanna Erikson in 1910,
on the ship Adriatic, came to Ellis Island, N.Y.
Erik had family in Minnesota, Minneapolis. Once they got to Minneapolis, I can not find Ida...so she probably got on her own.
1910 us census records Minnesota/ramsey county
Ida E. Gransell
working as a clothperson, her last address was Sweden
Is this the same Ida.
BY 1926 Ida E. Gransell-Benson was in California, ventura county town of Ojai.
OVER the years Ida kept in contact with the children of Erik and Johanna and my Grandmother; Margaret/ Greta.
There is probably no blood relations with the Gransells and Eriksons.
I did find a Obit ;for Bruno L. Benson. and other information on Ventura Gem and Mineral website page.
mentions Bruno had a sister.
