Thankyou for the extra information. The message i posted today was put onto 16 other State sites, mostly the southern and western ones, but relates to Cecil and the car crash. This is the area we now believe Cecil died in.
Regarding Leota Shermerhorn's death records, how can i get copies of this. Looking on some of the State websites you can only get certificates if you are a direct relative, and i am not, is there any way then to obtain this information? My research on this B-17 crash and crew has been going on for twelve years and Cecil seems a man of mystery.
