Looking for these families from the Santa Barbara County, Santa Barbara as well as from San Luis Obispo County and town, in California. They were in the area beginning with the first census of CA in 1850 to 1900. Gallego appears to be associated to the Salinan Tribe and with Mission San Miquel Arcangel from 1840's. I am doing an extensive census research that might help others in this area. Would like to know if anyone else has researched these families and are willing to share information.
