Bumbaugh's in San Luis Obispo in 1940

I recently got this information from a step-neice of Ralph Bumbaugh.
She said she and her Mother Louise Bumbaugh and her step-father Harry Bumbaugh traveled to California in 1940. While there they went to San Luis Obispo and visited with Ralph and she thinks the wifes name was Esther. She remembers they ahd a son August(Augie) and another boy and at least one girl but can't remember their names. She said the other boy was handicapped.
Does anyone remember this family?
Thank you,
Dorothy Bumbaugh
