I am looking for descendants of George B Painter, who was born in Holmes Co, Ohio, 1860. He married Fannie Speelman in Holmes Co, OH on January 3, 1888. They moved to Los Banos, Merced Co, CA in 1908. At the time of his death in 1921 George had four survivng children: John Bruce Painter of Los Banos, Mrs. Daisy Stam of Grafton, William Painter of Colusa, and Mrs Mable Yoder.
I know that John Bruce Painter had a son William Frank Painter. He moved back to Ohio with his Uncle and Aunt William and May Painter in 1925. At that time, George's widow, Fannie Painter, was living in Canton, Ohio. After living with his grandmother for a short time, he moved in with his Aunt Mable and Uncle Carl Yoder in Holmes Co, Ohio.
If you are a descendant of any of these people I wold love to hear from you. George is a brother of my 3great-grandfather, Sample Edward Painter. George and Sample's parents were John Bruce and Mary (Snyder) Painter.
