Looking for info on decendants of Charles S Peck born in buffalo New York in 1834 came to California in 1852 following two brothers James and John, who came to Calif 1849. Brother Frank came in 1853. He built the first stone building in Snelling, Merced County and mined in Mariposa County for 6 years then returning East in 1859. 1859 married Adaline Cook of Genessee County. Son James F was borned in buffalo in Jan 1860. 1860 the family returned to Snelling.
