Thomas Wellcome McPherson and Martha Jane
Hagler (or Nagler) are my gg grandparents.
According to Family Tree Maker, they were married Oct. 9, 1864 in Sonoma County, California. They lived in Mendocino County.
My g grandmother, Bertha McPherson Sierck,
daughter of Thomas and Martha, was born in
Covelo. Somewhere they owned a ranch, but by 1879, both parents were killed, leaving their children orphans and penniless due to
rangewar. Very sad story.
Have NO information on Martha Jane Hagler or
Nagler, except marriage date. Don't know where she came from or her birth date.
Any information on this lady would be greatly
appreciated. Thank you for your time.
