thanks for the info
both John & Marianna died in dec 1947 within weeks of each other.
in 1910 census for madera ca it stated John/Mary were married 17 yrs so the yr would be 1893.I think this was a 2nd marriage for both.
I have both their dates of birth --death but not marriage.. I don't know who her parents are except maybe Ramon Ochoa---he's the one I found to be closer to her time...& there was a Marianna 8 yrs old..
Frank Scheeler was a blacksmith also and it was John's brother and thye both were born in Dubuque Iowa--same as I>
my last name was the same...spelled different tho.
