Rothschild was a tax lawyer as well as a sales representative for men’s wear. The Kansas native died May 13, at 84. Mr. Rothschild graduated from the University of Kansas. During World War II, he worked at the U.S. Tax Court in Washington, D.C. He lived in Chicago before moving to Marin. He and his wife, Herta Rothschild, enjoyed travel. Besides his wife of more than 51 years, he is survived by two sons, Jerome A. and Michael D. Rothschild, both of Sonoma County.
