I am not in a position to do an obit search for you, but Cal death records show:

Luther B. Ele b 21 Dec 1896 in Oklahoma, d. Los Angeles County, CA 03 July 1972, ss#513-10-2751, age 75 years.

Effie Edna Ele, b. 02 Nov 1898 in Oklahoma, mmn Shanks, father WARD, d. Madera County 01 Nov 1983, age 85, ss#514-14-7944.
