I will see what I can find, but there is nothing about his parents on my Death Records. A couple of things are interesting: apparently his wife, Susan, died 11 days before he did (31 Dec 1890). Another thing is that I have been working on the genealogy of Waters N. Waite, and he lived in LaPorte, CA for several years; married in LaPorte; and migrated to Gravelly Valley about 1885. Did they know each other?? My Death records didn't show that James M. Daughters was buried in Middletown, so that is new information.
