Hi, John McDonell came from Kansas son of James McDonell, He was my great uncle. The family lost touch with him and found him in a nursing home in the early 1970's in Lake, CA or possibly Lake county, CA. Did John have any kids? They would be my cousins. My dad still talks about John, how good of a man he was. John McDonell was born 1871 in Dickeyville, WI or Scranton, KS. Sure would like to make a connection with John's kids or grandkids. My dad is 78 years old.
