Henry TAYLOR b:abt:1835 in Dade Co. MO. His parents died in MO abt:1844. In 1845 Henry crossed the plains in a covered wagon with the ELLIOTT family (do not have info on the ELLIOTT's). Henry had the first hotel in Upper Lake Co.,Lake Co.,CA according to a book "History of Lake County 1881".
Henry married Frances G. McLEAN in Upper Lake Co.,CA. Frances McLEAN was b:7/28/1847 in Union Co.,AR. Do not know when the McLEAN family moved to Lake Co., CA. Henry & Frances are my grgrgrandparents. If anyone has information on the TAYLOR, McLEAN or ELLIOTT families please email me at kcpost1@hotmail.com.
