Hi Marsha - Sorry this took so long. I spoke to the Kings County Clerk Recorder (559-582-3211 Ext 2470) & they do not allow access to the index anymore do to identity theft laws. However anyone can purchase a copy of a marriage license for $13.00. Kings County did not start recording marriages until 1898. If requested they will do a search for 5 years before & 5 years after expected date. They also have a book of delayed marriage recordings since like births, marriages were not always recorded right away in the early days of the system. They recommend you include your telephone # so they can call with any questions.
