Hi,
I'd contact your local library about inter-library transfer of the correct microfilm.

OR contact the Kern County Genealogical Society, rootsweb.ancestry.com/~cakcgs/Look-ups.htm . They do research. It might cost you more because they'll have to access the old microfilm records. Hopefully there IS microfilm records.
