In the early 1970's I saw a photograph of several boys and young men lined up posing with thier bicycles as messengers for The Western Union,I believe the picture was taken in the early 1920's.One of the boys name was John Wesley Wyatt.
My dad and his younger brother were placed in the Arkansas State Orphanage in about 1911 to 1914.The younger boy was taken(or adopted)by a family by the name of SIMMS,SIMMONS,SIMPSON or SYMMONS,they had a daughter(an older teenager or early 20's)that was a teacher or was studying to be a teacher, the father was associated with the logging industry,or saw milling.
In the early 1950's there was a retired spinster school teacher that had passed away after moving to one of the coastal towns I beleive her name to be a SIMMS,SIMMONS..ect.
If any one has any knowledge of this mystrey could you please notify me.This all came from the Bakersfield Californian, could any one verify this for me.
