Hi Ralph,

I do not have an obituary for Theodocia (Curry) Arford. However, I do have her death record information:

Arford, Theodocia, died 6 July 1943 at her home, 1439 North A Street, Arcata. Bur: 8 July, Greenwood Cemetery, Arcata. Cause: heart failure, nephritis. Husband & inform: Geo. B. Arford, age 63. Born 21 October 1864, Kansas. Parents: Mary (Gardner) & William Curry, no places of birth listed.

The above abstract is from: Humboldt County, California Abstracts of Death Records, 1936-1947, compiled by Marilyn Keach Milota.

I also found these tidbits of information on some of the other family members (the first is from Obituaries, Humboldt County, California, 1900-1910, compiled by Marilyn Keach Milota):

Curry, William Galbraith. Died: 2 October 1906 near Iaqua. Bur: Iaqua. Age: 66 yrs. Civil War vet. Left wife Margaret E. Curry & children: Mrs. G.B. Smith, Mrs. S. Foster, W.O., Mabel & Allen Curry. (DS obituary 6 October 1906; DT obit 3 Oct, art 11 October 1906)

(this next item is from: Obituaries, Humboldt County, California, 1921-1927, compiled by Marilyn Keach Milota):

Curry, Mary E., died 11 December 1925 at 1424 Myrtle Avenue, Eureka. Buried: Iaqua cemetery. Brief illness. Born 30 May 1844, Illinois. Came to Humboldt 1876. Left children Mrs. Joseph E. Benbow, Doria Foster, Leora Smith & W.A. Curry. (Humboldt Standard. obit & not. 12 Dec.)

(this next item is from Obituaries, Humboldt County, California, 1911-1920, compiled by Marilyn Keach Milota):

Curry, William O., died 30 July 1913 at Oroville, California. Electrocuted on 18 July while at work on gold dredge. Age abt. 39 yrs, born in California. Former Blue Lake resident. Left a wife, 7 children & his mother. Brother of Mrs. Geo. B. Smith & Mabel Curry. (Blue Lake Advocate, art. 9 Aug)

(The last two entries are from: Humboldt County, California, death records, abstracts of books 1 & 2, 1873-1925, volume I: A through E, compiled by Marilyn Keach Milota):

Curry, Mary E., died: 11 December 1925, 1524 Myrtle Avenue, Eureka. Buried: Iaqua. Born: 30 May 1844, Illinois. Widow. Parents: Rachel (Banty) & J.C. Gardner. Cause: Heart disease.

Curry, William G., died: 2 Oct 1906, Iaqua. Age: 65 yrs, 10 mos, 2 days. Born: Ohio. Married. Occupation: farmer. Cause: Heart disease.

Iaqua cemetery is an old Humboldt County cemetery. I believe you can access it by going up Kneeland road.
