In a artical I have dated May 19 1961, (a house fire that killed my cousin and three of her children)
It has a piece in it about the house decribed as a 12 room three story structure that once was a stage coach stop between Humbolt Bay and Reddingm
It has the house was built in late 1800' due to the isolation and location outside the fire district. The road was rugged.
I know this is not much help.
