Henry Dean 1799-1883

Hi! Are there any descendants of Henry Dean still living in the Humboldt County area?
Henry Dean was my gg-grandfather who came to the Grizzly Bluff area in the 1850's and was one of three men who settled that area. I have been blessed to have some knowledgable Ferndale volunteers uncover a remarkable amount of history about Henry's accomplishments, and the six children who came West with him, but all I have been able to find out about his life before coming to California, is that he was born in Orangeburg S.C., and stopped in several Southern states on his way out. He lost his wife in Colusa, Ca. before moving to the Humboldt area, and later married a woman by the name of Mary Jean. Does anyone have any information about who his family was--Mother, Father, or siblings? Hopefully there is a family Bible with that information somewhere. If there are any of you cousins or friends are out there, I would love to hear from you.
