My husband's grandfather was Charles Calvin Bryant, born April 1, 1864 at Alton. He raised his family on a ranch in Carlotta. Charles's wife was Evalena Strong. She died in 1921 at Cuddebaack Farm, Alton. They are both buried in the Old Cemetary at Hydesville. I am trying to locate any of their decendants who are still living in the area. We are also trying to find out who Evalena's parents were. My husband Clarence is the son of William Everett and Erla Bryant Maudlin. The family lived in Eureka for many years. Any help would be appreciated.
