Hi Vicki-- That was quick. If your note means that you've lost your mother recently, my condolences. I did some Internet searches yesterday and came across an index for a Williams graveyard (not necessarily my Williams but who knows)in Colusa County. There was an Ella Williams Manor and a Lulu Williams Callen. Those names interested me, because Margaret Williams had nieces named Lulu (not terribly common) and Ella and, if Mabel O'Brien was a sister to Harry Milton Williams (just speculation), that, along with the fact that Dennis and Harry were family names, could indicate that Margaret named her kids after family and that Lulu and Ella are possible connections. Do you know if there is anyone in the Willows area I could hire at a decent but fair price to take a look at Elk Creek Cemetery (and their records) where Dennis and Harry Williams are buried, and to look up some records and probably obituaries in the historical society? I'm in St. Paul so having someone on the scene would really help. I appreciate the fact that you'll run some names past your cousins. Thank so much. If it's easier, you can reply to my e-mail.--Emily emilymeier@juno.com
