I don't know if this is any descendants of your Mulligan family, but I have an obituary notice from the Fresno Bee dated December 28,1990 as follows:

Eileen Mulligan Hurtado, Kingsburg... The rosary for Eileen Mulligan Hurtado, 34 will be recited at 7 p.m. today at Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Hurtado died Wednesday. She was a secretary for the Fresno County Department of Social Services.
Surviving are her husband, John; her parents, Johanna and Arthur Mulligan of Selma; a brother, Gerry Mulligan of Selma; and two sisters Terri Bogart of Templeton and Jackie Perry of Kingsburg.
Creighton Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
I am not related to this family, just trying to help with your genealogy research.
