A J Veith Descendents/Friends

Am researching the history of the area surrounding my paternal g-parents farm in the Town (Civil Township) of Gordon, Ashland County, WI. One of the earliest settlers seems to have been A J Veith who in 1898 owned 160 acres in Section 14, T43N-R2W. In 1905 he owned the same 160 plus 360 more acres in the name of A G (J?) Veith & E B Gordon. Also 80 more acres in the name of Veith & Gordon in ajoining Section 15. Nothing shown in his name in the 1917 Ashland County plat book. A cousin of mine related to me in the late 1970s that the Veith(s) moved to Fresno and in the mid-1930s returned to visit and her father (my uncle) accompanied the Veith(s) out to their old place and photos were taken. I am looking for anyone who might have knowledge of the Veiths who would have moved to Fresno sometime between 1905 & 1917.
