Luther Tilman Ause
Luther Tilman Ause, 77, died Dec. 5 at his Placerville residence. He was born June 29, 1919 in New Auburn, Wis.
He was a resident of Lotus for 21 years and lived in California for 49 years.
Mr. Ause worked as a general manager for Suburban Propane for 35 years until he retired in 1991. He served in the Air Force during WWII and was a member of the Sons In retirement and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his daughter Barbara Bailey of Lotus, son Mark Ause of Lotus, sister Irene Thompson of South Dakota and one grandchild.
Private services will be held at a later date for family only. Donations in Mr. Ause's name can be made to Snowline Hospice.
Arrangements are being handled by Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home.
